The most recent flooring option is luxury vinyl. Yes, you heard me right. Vinyl flooring. I know your first thought is oh no, not linoleum! It's not linoleum. It's not laid in sheets but rather as planks as they lay wood or laminate. You can get it in different styles such as a wood-look or a patterned style. I saw some today at Color Interiors that had a transitional style pattern that I thought would look great in a kitchen or laundry room.
Unlike laminate and wood, this product is completely waterproof. Perfect for pets and kids. It's a little more expensive than laminate but not as expensive as most wood products. It is so wood-like that you may have difficulty telling the difference.
